CONJUNCTION

A long word but very easy to understand. As the first tree letter “con” signifies that is connect.
It connect the more than one thought group together in an sentence and make that sentence grammatically correct.
For example:
She will swim or run.
In the above sentence “or” is the conjunction which is connecting two thought group together.
Conjunction helps in resisting the repetition of  sentence. It helps in eliminating  redundancy of words.
Types of conjunction:

*Coordinating conjunction:
And= used to join or add
Or=used to  illustrate choice or possibilities
But= used to show opposite or conflicting ideas
So=used to present result

*Subordinating conjunction:
After, before, unless, until, since, than, while, because, as,if
*Co relative conjunction: these are pair of conjunctions used together in an sentence.
For example
“Both” Mathew “and” Jim are bad runners.

neither…….nor….
